Today we’re excited to announce our oversubscribed $16.5M Series A, bringing our total funding to nearly $20M. With this round, we’ll continue to lift the admin burden off payers and help millions more patients get the care they need, faster.
We’re an AI services company, and we’re here to solve the unsexiest problems in the system: the ones most patients never see, and never should.
The round was led by Headline, with participation from new investors Arthur Ventures and FJ Labs and continued support from our existing investors: Maverick, firstminute, Top Harvest Capital, and Transpose Platform.

Hermine and Alex are rare founders who combine exceptional execution with a deep understanding of one of healthcare’s most complex challenges.
A new look for Electra
To celebrate this next chapter, we decided to give Electra a new look.
In honor of its name, Electra’s new seal features a Greek mythology persona: strong, steady, and ready to take on whatever comes her way, from regulatory changes to mountains of clinical faxes.
It’s also a reminder that Electra is human at its core. Nurses and engineers build it side by side, freeing clinicians to focus on the cases that need their expertise and helping more patients quickly get the care they’ve been waiting for.
Watch our launch video on our landing page to see what happens when Electra moves into a payer’s office.
What’s changing
Electra still checks every request against both clinical guidelines and member benefits, and keeps a full audit trail of how it reached each recommendation. It can approve and escalate, but it never issues a denial.
Electra can now close operational loops end to end. It works directly in more fax inboxes, creates cases in utilization management systems, and prints letters and sends outbound faxes to close out authorizations. New agentic layers let Electra adapt to each client’s exact configuration and flex to new workflows as demands and scope change. And our team is growing faster than ever: we’re already searching for a new office in the Bay Area.
What’s next
We’ll use this funding to grow our team, build new products, and expand our footprint in the government sector. We’re hiring across engineering, clinical, and sales. If you’re based in San Francisco and interested in joining us, reach out.
